We had earlier told you about Kareena Kapoor turning down Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine.’

After Madhur Bhandarkar completed the script of ‘Heroine,’ a joint venture between the ace director and UTV Productions, the director approached Kareena Kapoor to play the lead role of the movie and she turned down the script after a few discussions on the same.

Although Madhur put the script on a hold, sources say, it was always dear to him and his heart kept lingering back to it…

Now what’s happening to ‘Heroine’? The latest we hear is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be playing the lead role of this movie. Although the actress is yet to sign this film, she has agreed to play the role by word of mouth. Associates close to the actress reveal that she is willing to play this role since she finds this movie of Madhur’s as a very realistic one with a strong script!

If things go on well, ‘Heroine’ will start filming in the first week of June and will be shot continuously for two months.
